M Health Fairview EmPATH
Creating a calming environment to optimize mental health services.
M Health Fairview is the largest provider of mental health services in the upper Midwest, paving the way to the future with Minnesota's first EmPATH service. An alternative to emergency departments, EmPATH provides rapid care in a calming setting for people experiencing a mental health crisis. Their priority for this new care unit was to create a tranquil environment to provide a safe healing space for patients. M Health and BWBR drove the vision for the project. Our team had a high level of direct engagement with M Health to develop a comprehensive furniture and finishes package. It was critical to assess every piece of furniture to be sure it meets the requirements for health and safety in a healing environment. As a long-time partner of Fairview, we were proud to be a part of the team to bring this modern concept for healing care to life.
