Fellowshop
A vibrant and collaborative hub uplifting Chicago's design community.
Located in a former warehouse in Chicago’s Kinzie Industrial Corridor, Fellowshop is more than an average co-working space. Continua Interiors consulted with En Masse Architecture and Design to support their vision for a vibrant and collaborative industry hub, with private offices and communal work zones creating ample flexibility for creative professionals.
En Masse sought to turn the relatively small building into a coworking destination bursting with options for design teams. Individual offices around the perimeter of the space offer the solitude necessary for deep focus, while open-plan workstations and communal areas invite conversation and group brainstorming. Continua Interiors selected furniture that supports this convertible environment, featuring a mix of Herman Miller Canvas workstations, SitOnIt Hexy task seating, Herman Miller Eames Soft Pad conference seating and a Knoll Saarinen meeting table, all of which provide areas for both heads-down work and group collaboration. A Muuto Connect lounge introduces additional opportunities for social interaction and community building.
Providing pieces from Herman Miller, Knoll, Muuto, DWR, Exemplis and BluDot, the Continua team activated this unique space, balancing form and function to transform it into something greater than a standard office. With each element aimed at maximizing flexibility, Fellowshop gives designers the gift of choice in how they work, mingle and create.
