When NXT Capital relocated to a newly designed and constructed space in Chicago’s West Loop, they wanted a workplace centered around both the employee experience and refined client hospitality. They achieved this by increasing their amenity footprint from their previous office. High-end and natural finishes complement the natural light to elevate these spaces to a bright, airy environment that invites people in. In collaboration with Lamar Johnson Collaborative, Continua Interiors provided furniture and installation for this project.
The center of the office boasts a newly refurbished staircase that connects the two floors and extends into the bright lobby and café. Large windows bring in natural light and sweeping views of the Chicago River. Geiger Loop chairs and the Rapport sofa establish a refined first impression, introducing soft materials and clean lines that anchor the space. In the café, Muuto Cover chairs are paired with small Enwork Disc tables to create opportunities for a casual touch down in the middle of a workday. Stylex Luna tables are completed with Muuto Fiber chairs and provide larger landing zones for collaboration, culture building, and hospitality.
Beyond the amenities, the sprawling open office continues the clean lines and bright finishes. Knoll Dividends workstations organize the floor plan into sections of privacy without cluttering the sightlines across the floor. Positioned along the perimeter, private offices and huddle rooms create dedicated spaces for individual focus and small-group collaboration. A large boardroom furnished with Nienkamper and Sit On It is ready to host large groups and client meetings. Continua Interiors also executed installation across all spaces, ensuring a smooth project closeout and a seamless transition into occupancy.
Designed to support evolving workstyles, NXT Capital's new office delivers a seamless transition into a workplace that balances employee flexibility and comfort with premium, hospitality-driven client experience. By reimagining its workplace within a familiar location, the firm created an environment that minimizes disruption today and is built to support its people and business well into the future.
